Family Profiles - Tim and Lisa

Hello, we are Tim and Lisa and we always dreamed of being parents and raising a family. We adopted our daughter, Rachel, at birth, and she was an answer to our prayers. We very much want another child and pin our hopes on adoption - this time, to complete our family.

Our marriage is very special relationship guided by our love, spiritual values and a mutual sense of humor. We just celebrated our 11th anniversary. We met back in college and our marriage is the first for both of us as is true for our parents - one set just celebrated their 50th and the other is approaching it! Our large extended family gets together often and we always have a great time.

We are financially secure and own a beautiful home in a safe, wooded area a few blocks from the Pacific Ocean’s sandy shore. We have a large back yard with plenty of room amidst trees and flowers to play. We live in a neighborhood full of young families because it is known for an excellent school system and community involvement.

We are down to earth people with a wide range of interests. Tim is 43, 5'9" with blonde hair and hazel eyes. He has accomplished master’s degrees in both business and engineering, and he is VP of a major satellite television company. He loves the outdoors and enjoys skiing, diving, hiking and camping. He also loves music, reading and from an early age, he dabbled in oil painting which is a special interest to this day.

Lisa is 44, 5'9" with dark brown hair and green eyes. With a teaching credential and master’s degree in education, Lisa taught 5th and 6th grades for several years at a local elementary school. Following Rachel’s arrival, Lisa devoted her time to being an active and loving mom enjoying reading, exercising, and cooking with and for her family. We are, as a family, very active in our local church.
